Teddy also says "The light has gone out of my life. X" to Valentine's Day. 

That's the entry in his journal for February 14, 1884, the day both his wife and mother died within hours of each other, one from typhoid fever and the other from kidney failure two days after giving birth.

So if you had a rough Valentine's Day, just remember Teddy Roosevelt.

Also, all those cutesy teddy bears given out as Valentine gifts seem really bittersweet now, don't they?

Forced Labor

Did you know that the etymology of robot is from a Czech word meaning slave? Technically "forced labor." Don't tell this guy though, he's programmed to think he likes doing his work and it would ruin the illusion he's got built into his stupid robot brain.
Incidentally, I drew this in a staff meeting.
